About us

A marketplace for the building blocks that make AI agents useful — MCP servers, APIs, Claude Skills and plugins — with clear pricing, verified sellers, and payouts that actually arrive.

Updated 23 hours ago

Agents are only as good as the tools they can reach. MCPvsAPI is where those tools are published, priced and found.

What we do

Building something useful for AI agents is one problem. Getting it into the hands of people who need it — with documentation, versioning, billing and a way to get paid — is a different one entirely, and it stops a lot of good work from ever leaving a repository.

We handle the second problem so you can concentrate on the first. Publish a listing, set your pricing, and we take care of checkout, entitlements, usage metering and payouts.

Four kinds of building block

Different problems call for different shapes of solution, so the catalogue carries four:

  • MCP servers — connect an assistant to systems you already run. Databases, internal APIs, ticketing, whatever the work actually touches.
  • APIs — hosted services with metered access, sandbox credentials and an OpenAPI description so integration is a morning, not a week.
  • Skills — packaged expertise. A folder, a SKILL.md, and a clear statement of which tools it needs.
  • Plugins — commands, agents and hooks bundled into one installable unit, often wrapping several of the above.

Listings can declare how they relate to one another, so a plugin that bundles three skills says so, and a skill that requires a particular MCP server says that too. You find out before you install, not after.

For sellers

Publishing takes minutes. Point us at a GitHub repository and we read the README and manifest for you, then hand back a draft you can correct — we never publish something you have not reviewed, because a repository description is not a product description.

Verification is required before anything goes live. It is a short review, and it exists so buyers can trust what they are installing.

On the money: we take a platform fee, earnings clear over a short holding period, and you request payouts when you want them. Every figure is visible in your seller dashboard before you list anything — nothing about the arrangement is discovered later.

For buyers

Browse by type, category or seller. Pricing is shown as plans with explicit quotas rather than a “contact us” button. Pay by card or in crypto.

What you have bought lives in one place, with usage against quota shown for anything metered, so a surprise bill is not part of the experience.

Why we built it

[REPLACE THIS SECTION WITH YOUR OWN STORY. A few honest sentences about what prompted you to build this beat any amount of polished copy. If you would rather not have this section, delete the heading and these paragraphs entirely — a short, true About page is better than a long, padded one.]
